Share Your HAIRstory 
 

Everyone has at least one funny, poignant or crazy story about their hair. Most of us have lots of tales. We invite you to share your best hair story. Tell us about it in a paragraph or two and e-mail it to us at community@headsuphairitage.com. Your story may be read onstage as part of the Second Annual Heads Up! A Soulful Ceqlebration of Our HAIRitage event. If it’s selected, we may edit it for length.

Remember your first haircut?  Your mother (or maybe father) “doing” your hair? If you wear natural hairstyles, when and why did you go natural and how was it received? Ever make a radical change in your hairstyle? Who first showed you how to braid your hair?  When did you have the world’s worst hairdo?  Ever lose your hair or try to make it grow with some “miracle” product?  Have you ever had any disagreements with someone about your hair?
